SAT Essay Topics That Can Help Your SAT Score
SAT Essay Topics That Can Help Your SAT ScoreWriting an SAT essay is difficult, especially if you're new to writing an essay. However, the more research you do and the more time you spend practicing, the better your chances will be of writing a good essay. So if you are new to SAT essay writing, here are some SAT essay topics that you may want to think about writing. One thing to keep in mind is that you don't have to write an essay about a topic that has already been covered in previous SAT exams. You can use the topic as a jumping off point for an original thought. For example, some SAT essay topics would be: 'Anecdotes and life experiences,' 'History and culture,' or 'Current events.' No matter what you choose, just make sure it's not already covered in the SAT essay topics. One important thing to keep in mind is that the topic that you choose has to be on a SAT reading or vocabulary test. If you chose to cover history, it has to be from the last decade or so. And if you choose to c over current events, it has to be something that was written within the last few months. Anything else is too recent. The next thing you need to do is to make sure you can read and write. In fact, I suggest that you start with something simple and read through the paper at least a couple of times, looking for errors and typos. Check it over at least four times, just in case you miss a word, and get it corrected before you send it off.Once you are finished reading and writing, go back and check your work for grammar and spelling errors. If there are any, make sure you catch them right away before they become major points in your final grade. Don't hesitate to ask someone to read your work for you and correct it if necessary. Besides, it'save you a lot of time that you can use to practice other sections of the SAT.Another useful tip to help you with your SAT essay writing is to write in a style that makes sense to you. Using the right words is very important. Try to write like a normal person would write. For example, a writer should always make clear his objective in the essay, but should also use words that will appeal to a reader in his objective. Words like love, curiosity, and inspiration can be used when using them in your essay. Also, it's important to write the essay in the style that the teacher asks you to. The style doesn't have to be the traditional college style. It's just that using the college style will always be too formal. But writing in your own style will be more appealing and will have more of an effect on the student.Just a note of warning: never try to write your SAT essay topic by yourself. That's an easy way to get a bad grade. In addition, it's hard to read and write essays and unless you have someone to read and correct your work, the final grade is more likely to be a lower one.
